I was introduced to Ideal Protein in May 2011. I was looking to lose 15-20lbs for my brother’s upcoming wedding in August. I have always been a runner, but at this stage in my life, running was NOT taking the weight off like it had in the past. I knew I had to change more than just my exercise routine...I needed to change my diet habits as well!

After learning about the program, I was excited to try it! What would I have to lose, I thought...just pounds!! One week after following the program, I was down 4 pounds, which already made my clothes feel less tight...that meant more to me than numbers on a scale! Two years later, I have continued to keep the weight off.

Ideal Protein has been the "Ideal Diet" for me!

Ideal Protein has been the “Ideal Diet” for me! I have tried to lose weight in the past by eating sensibly and exercising, but it was always a long and arduous process. With IP, I was able to accomplish my original goal in less than 2 months! It was so easy to follow that I reset my goal and stayed with it and reached my super stretch goal of 50 lbs. in another 4 weeks! I am now starting Phase 3, and am confident I can keep my weight at a manageable level. It is just incredibly motivating to see results every single week, and when people start noticing your weight loss, and commenting, it really helps you stay on track to reach your goal! I should also mention that my wife and I started this plan together. She was the one who got me to stop procrastinating and do something about my health. With both of us on the plan, mealtime has been much simpler to accommodate as well.

This plan is so easy to follow and I would recommend it to anyone who has tried other diets and not been successful. I was never hungry while on this plan. The portions are substantial, and very filling. The IP packets have a huge variety, and I think I tried them all! I have several favorites, and I was able to take care of nearly every craving I had, (with the exception of pizza and popcorn, which I really miss)!

When I started the program, my cholesterol levels were all extremely high. I also suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and sleep apnea. After being on the program for 2 weeks, my RA inflammation had subsided greatly. I felt great when I woke up in the morning, with none of my usual aches and pains! After being on the program for 6 weeks, I retested my cholesterol levels, and they were rock bottom great! My doctor asked about my weight loss, and when I told him I was on the IP plan, he said he was very familiar with it and whole-heartedly endorsed it. I also recently retested for my sleep apnea, and am very hopeful that I can ditch the mask as well!

Lastly, I have to give a big shout out to my coaches! The weekly visits to weigh and measure really kept me accountable to the plan. They both provided helpful tips, information, and most of all positive encouragement to help me reach my goal. This is a very key part of the program that sets it apart from other plans. The daily video messages and recipes also make this so easy to be successful!

That was the best decision I had made!

I knew I had gained a “few” extra pounds over the year, yet I had a hard time believing the number on the scale. Heck, I was even in the midst of training for a half-marathon when a good friend of mine suggested Ideal Protein. I basically went to the consult as a favor to my friend. After listening to the reasoning behind the success of IP, I though, “It can’t hurt”, and joined.

That was the best decision I had made. I dropped a few pounds and a lot of the little aches and pains I had been experiencing disappeared. My energy picked up and I just felt great! I have since had a baby and bounced right back to my “after IP but before baby” weight and quickly - mostly because of the dieting principles instilled into my mind after IP! BEST of all, my family has acquired a new-found love of “All Things Healthy’!
